As a military family stationed in Alaska at the time, we needed an easy gardening project to get outside with our kids during the short summer. Every planter we found had reviews showing they fall apart within months – what a waste! We set out with a simple goal: design a sturdy planter that lasts.

It does not cover aging and weathering over time or cracks in the wood, as these are to be expected with all unfinished planters.
